As she does every year, Dr Valverde took part in the Annual Meeting of the European Association for the Study of Diabetes (EASD 2026) took place from September 28 to October 2, 2026, at the Allianz MiCo – Milan Convention Centre in Milan, Italy.

On this occasion, as well as presenting important work alongside her group, she was interviewed, giving her the opportunity to talk about the DiBaN project as a nutritional alternative.
