The CSIC centers located on the Cantoblanco campus (Madrid) are celebrating Europe Day 2026, observed on May 9, with a series of three workshops designed to introduce high school students to the field of research and the research vocation.
The event will take place at the Eugenio Trías Public Library (Madrid) on May 6, 7, and 8, 2026 (Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday), with two sessions each day: from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
A one-hour session with researchers working in Europe, followed by a scavenger hunt for students focused on female Nobel laureates: our “Escape Road,” an activity based on an exhibition about female researchers who have won the Nobel Prize in scientific disciplines, or their equivalents in mathematics (the Abel Prize and the Fields Medal).
