Graduated in Food Science and Technology, she holds a PhD in Biology and Food Sciences by UAM. She has over 14 years-experience working at the GENYAL Platform (nutrition and clinical trials) in IMDEA Food. She has ample experience in R+D+i activities through the design, coordination and management of projects from national and European competitive calls, as well as private funding, related to food and health (nutritional intervention studies and personalized nutrition through the application of nutrigenetic knowledge). She has participated in the development of over 24 clinical trials funded by National and European grant projects such as AI4FOOD-CM, Y2020/TCS-6654, FORCANCER, AGL2013-48943-C2-2-R, Food Nutrition Security Cloud (FNS-Cloud: H2020-UE.3.2.2.3), as well as in nutritional intervention studies funded by companies including Biosearch Life and Capsa Food, among others. She has authored over 20 publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals. She is also file manager of the GENYAL Platform database and data protection manager of IMDEA Food and collaborates in the activities of the Spin-off P4H.
