Postdoctoral researcher at the Molecular Oncology and Precision Nutrition Group and responsible of the Metabolic Reprogramming Unit at IMDEA Food Institute. Her research focuses on the analysis of metabolic and immune system alterations associated to low grade of chronic inflammation diseases, cancer and ageing. By mean of an ample set of analysis, including genetics, transcriptomics, cell bioenergetics, metagenomics… she aims to identify molecular therapeutic targets susceptible of being modulated by mean of personalized nutritional strategies, including bioactive natural compounds.

With over 20 years of experience, Marta Gómez de Cedrón is proficient in several molecular and cellular biology techniques. She is actively involved in the training of predoctoral, and graduate students; in writing scientific national and international projects. With more than 50 publications, she holds the patent PCT/ES2017/070263 and is a member of scientific societies such as ASEICA, EACR, EOCRC, ALIPANC…
