Silvia Cruz Gil

Dr. Silvia Cruz is a postdoctoral researcher at IMDEA Food Institute Molecular Oncology Group where her research focuses on tumor microenvironment, especially in the relationship between increased cholesterol levels and tumor progression. She obtained a Boehringer Ingelheim Travel Grant to perform a research stay at the University Hospital Carl Gustav Carus (Dresden, Germany) to learn organoids technique, under the supervision of Dr. Daniel Stange. She has also been trained in organ-on-a-chip technology. She has published several research articles.
